Local Attraction:
Villa de Teguise is one of the main cultural and tourist centres on the island. The most popular events is called 'Mercadillo'. Every Sunday morning, the village turns into a grand open market where you can find anything from artifacts to home made bread, all animated by groups of folk dancers and singers in native costume.
